Film Buddy prides itself on offering a bespoke one on one mentoring service to encourage, inspire and assist students directly into work experience placements and employment within the Film and Television industry.

Our mentoring sessions allow us to work with students to provide a clear understanding of how the Film and TV industry works, we encourage them to pursue their chosen careers, we inspire them to look at new possibilities and assist them as they embark on a career in a notoriously difficult freelance industry.

We work closely with students to create a clear, focused, professional CV, we spend time with them to ensure that their professional approach/attitude synchronises with their CV and how important it is to present themselves correctly.  We also track current trends, social media, behaviours and attitudes, pro's and con's of a modern freelance industry and technical advances.

We strongly believe that our individual approach works, allowing students to receive advice that's specific to them. We are dynamic and proactive with students , calling on years of industry experience to assist them towards employment.

Film Buddy has built strong working relationships with some of the UK's leading Education Establishments and Film and TV Production Companies. Working together we have created a valuable platform for aspiring filmmakers on major TV and Film Productions, including. BBC 'War of the Worlds', ITV 'Victoria', BBC 'Wanderlust' ,Netflix 'The Feed', BBC 'Gunpowder', BBC 'World on Fire', 20th Century Fox 'Walk Like a Panther', BBC 'Years and Years', BBC 'Love Lies and Records', BBC 'Gentleman Jack'
