we MAKe THE JOURNEY FROM EDUCATION INTO THE CREATIVE INDUSTRIES easier.
Film Buddy started with a simple idea: students should have access to real people, real experience and real opportunities before they are expected to find their way into the industry.
Today, we work with universities and colleges across the UK, alongside some of the country's leading film and television production companies, helping students and graduates gain experience, build industry connections and move towards employment.

STORY LAB. real industry experiencE.
Story Lab brings education and industry together through live projects built around real creative briefs. Students work with industry professionals, develop ideas, respond to challenges and gain practical experience.
Projects can span film, TV, content, design, music, games and the wider creative industries, with each brief shaped around the course and designed to support career progression.
the INNERVERSE.
Innerverse is our own framework for creating work that has a positive impact beyond the screen.
It brings together responsible storytelling, opportunities for emerging talent, support for charities and communities, and a more considered approach to production.
The framework has been developed by Film Buddy and supported by the BFI. It helps students and graduates understand not only how creative work is made, but the responsibility and influence that comes with making it.
